Pet Portraits
Last Christmas, I started drawing portraits of loved one’s pets to avoid spending money I did not have. At the time, I presented it as “a more meaningful and personal Christmas present,” because I’m a natural.
Cassius- the most regal creature in continental North America.
Puppy- for my smartest friend, who couldn't come up with a better name than "Puppy."
Peaches- for my roommates and our little kitty with halitosis and IBS.
Presley- a regal man with the wisdom of a thousand canines.
Kuma- a giant marshmallow who walks like he has a secret..
Annie- our glamorous goldendoodle. If my mother could worship a pagan shrine to her, she would.
