Dazed and Confused Magazine
HIdentiFI App
According to a report by Dazed & Confused Magazine, when Gen Z was asked how they identify themselves, 65% said music, and expressed their inability to pick a favorite genre.
We built an app to address this musical fluidity, giving Gen Z an alternative answer to the dreaded question: “What kind of music do you listen to?”

Social Media
Entice the genre-less Gen Z with organic Instagram posts creating buzz about the app.

Out of Home
Mirror like wild postings have viewers look inwards and poster QR code prompts them to download the app.

Getting in Tune
After signing up, link your Spotify or Apple Music. With your music data, the AI software will generate a sound unique to your audio identity.

Your Frequency Deconstructed
Swiping over shows what you’re made of. Every frequency is broken down into three parts: Base, Mid and Overtone. Each layer is attributed to a personality trait with detailed descriptions.

Curated Content
Your Feed has curated DAZED articles and content across all categories that are on your Frequency. The app learns as you scroll, resulting in a more personalized feed over time.
Friendly Fusions
Fuse your frequency with a friends by holding your phones together, and the AI software creates a new sound unique to the two of you.

Frequencies and Fusions will be saved in an in-app playlist you can revisit and share when you’re feeling it. Expanding that playlist reveals the breakdown of that fusion and how it came to be.

Friends Fused
Vibe out together in the ultimate bond that is a fused frequency and admit that HidentiFi read your combined energies like a book. Like your frequency, Fusions break down what aspects of you and your friend are now fused.
Each day, articles will be suggested for all of your former fusions that relate to both you and your friend’s interests.

Social Sharing
Flex your Frequency and Fusions by easily sharing them to social media. Create instagram stories and Tik Toks using your sound and hashtag #OnMyFrequency.
So now Gen Z will be able to roll their eyes and play their sound when asked what kind of music they listen to.
